Raglan Interiors

Raglan, an independent, urban and lifestyle retailer/café opened its doors in August 2014, bringing a unique and laid back shopping solution to Dublin. Located on Drury Street in Dublin’s Creative Quarter.

In addition to conceiving, designing, and managing the store I project managed the entire build and fit out of the unit in the weeks from conception to opening.

The store offered the perfect fusion of clothing and cafe culture, with a fresh bohemian urban twist. Brands like RVCA, Element, WEsC, Nixon,  and Billabong were carefully` selected from around the world delivering a laid back edgy street/skate vibe for both men and women.

Given the modest budget available for the fit out, reusing, repurposing and reconditioning were key in my design. That, together with a handful of more contemporary pieces, brought the whole space together in a way that gave it a feeling of urban individuality and homeliness but still serving it’s purpose as a durable, functional place to do business. Raglan opened on time and on budget. Please feel free to check out http://www.raglan.ie

The Interiors work was carried out by CRM Interior Fit-Outs.

My Home Interiors

A little glimpse of my home, it’s interior and apartment living. A few personal bits I collected over the years, fell in love with and now, can’t live without.

Raglan CONCEPT AND DESIGN

I set myself the rewarding challenge of opening my 2nd business in 2014. Raglan was Dublin’s 1st concept store combing Coffee and Clothes. With restricted budget I created a concept and designed the look, interiors and project managed the opening of Raglan.

Raglan is an independent, urban and lifestyle retailer opening in Dublin 2, mid August 2014. Located at on 56-58 Drury Street, Dublin. The store combines great coffee and fresh urban, edgy street, skate and lifestyle brands from around the world for both men and women.

Coffee bar

Raglan benefits from the combining strengths of both Ross Staunton of well-known café Foodgame’s knowledge and experience and Amy Hamilton’s fashion and retail passion.

Store

The shop name has been inspired by a small coastal town located 48 km west of Hamilton, New Zealand where Amy visited her sister Katie. Raglan has a loving relationship with coffee and relaxed healthy lifestyle and a community based feel.

Fit Out and Design

The Interiors were designed by owner Amy Hamilton and CRM Interior Fit-Outs. CRM Interior Fit-Outs worked with Amy on the design and fit out of the store.  For more info check out http://crmltd.ie/

Onboard interiors

In 2005, aged 23, I opened Onboard, an edgy lifestyle store in Dublin city centre. We focussed on surf, snow and sailing clothing and technical wear. Stocking over 30 international brands it was a new and exiting offering unseen in Dublin before. I worked hands-on with CRM Interior Fit Outs to design the boutique style surf store. I was responsible for all elements of the business from the store design, branding, buying, management and admin.

Foodgame Interiors

Foodgame is a small local cafe in the heart of Beggar’s Bush, Dublin 4. Since 2013 I have been working with owner Ross Staunton consulting on the interior design. Over the past few years it has evolved from a food store/coffee shop to a buzzing vibrant day time cafe. Following a Aussie surf based life style brief with a tight budget we have created a local hub where customers can hang out and enjoy the vibe.

Over the last 5 years I have worked as a consultant for Foodgame on the interior design and digital marketing.
